Sometimes it’s tough being a parent and that’s where Home-Start Guildford can help… but we need more volunteers. Will you be one of them?

Can you spare a few hours a week to make a difference to the lives of a local family facing challenges?

Are you retired and looking for something rewarding to do? Is your child starting school and you want to do something different

Are you thinking of changing career and need experience to add to your CV?

If you’re a parent or grandparent or have childcare experience and can spare a few hours a week; you could be that special someone who makes a real difference to a family’s life.

Volunteers are the heart of Home-Start Guildford. By joining our dedicated and friendly team, you will:

• Take part in our free preparation training course
• Meet other likeminded people
• Be offered ongoing support and additional training opportunities
• Be invited to volunteer social events (including a free Christmas Lunch event)
• Receive regular updates and newsletters

Our courses run in Spring and Autumn each year, please check our website for our next course dates in Guildford. We’re recruiting now!
